They celebrated Palm Sunday, but did so in their own way. They were carriers of a message: Freedom of Movement and Worship; and acted in response to the restrictions of the Israeli occupation that deny such rights to Palestinians. They were all there: leaders and citizens, Muslims and Christians, professionals and lay people, and even journalists. This is the unity that we all seek. “We” being the people of Palestine, and the nonviolent resistance that we continuously talk about, the successes of which seem to have shaken the core of Israeli occupation.

Fadi Abu Sada-PNN - There has always been a debate on methods of Palestinian resistance, the most intense being between the armed and popular resistance, but sometimes the approach of diplomacy is the most hotly contested. The debate was sparked again this week after Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyad announced his document, “End the Occupation and Establish the State of Palestine.” It talks about strategic projects and the readiness of institutions to enable Palestinians to declare their own state.
Christians, like all Palestinians, want to live in freedom

Fadi Abu Sada- I have always been proud of being a Palestinian Christian, born and raised in Bethlehem, the holiest town in all Christianity.
Even before the start of the first intifada, when I was ten years old and before knowing about Christianity and Islam, I knew that two of my uncles were in Israeli prisons along with a couple of young guys from my neighborhood. I was very proud of them. They were in jail for resisting the occupation by reading and educating themselves.
